Allegra "Happy" Haynes
A native Denverite and Denver Public Schools graduate, Happy Haynes has spent more than three decades in public service. She served 13 years on Denver City Council — including two years as Council President — worked as City Council Liaison for Mayor John Hickenlooper, and served as Chief Community Engagement Officer under DPS Superintendent Michael Bennet.
A graduate of Barnard College at Columbia University and the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, Happy played a key role in the development of Denver International Airport and the transformation of the former Stapleton Airport into one of the most innovative redevelopment projects in the country.
